Paramedic becomes an iOS developer.

Serving the public since 2009

Being a paramedic who holds state certifications in three states and maintains status within the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians only glances the years of service and commitment to my communities. I also am certified through the American Heart Association and National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians for Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Prehospital Trauma Life Support.

The Transition

I finally decided to follow my dream of becoming a software engineer and data scientist. In 2018, I enrolled in SNHU's data analytics program, and within the first year I had achieved placement on the university's presidential list.

  • Software Engineer
  • Data Analytics
  • iOS Developer
  • Designer

Given my experience and training within Emergency Medical Services, I feel that I offer a unique perspective to the realm of software. EMS is seemingly controlled chaos due to the emergency aspects of its environments. In terms of design, coding principles, and user experience: EMS and technology share the idea of simplicity and structure.
